Jim Zinser's Super-Detailed Arch Bridge

Jim Zinser won "Best in Show" with this HO Scale Black Bear Arch Bridge. He used the Black Bear HO Scale Arch Bridge Jig to build the bridge. Jim added a lot of extra detail to the model: "I added a lot more NBW castings along with scratch built cleats. I also fully decked the bridge and hand-laid the track across the top. I built the timber piers, primarily to get me more scratch building points and to provide a "stand" to set the bridge on for the contest. When the bridge goes on my layout, the timber piers will be removed and the bridge will be mounted on stone piers." See the photos below.
