If you have been to more than one National Narrow Gauge Convention, you have seen Jon Addison's Sn3 Silverton Central modular layout. Jon used the Black Bear HO Standard Gauge jig
(TJK_5LHO)
to build his bents. As long as the rails are directly above a supporting leg, prototypical construction criteria are satisfied. The roughly 10" square timbers give the trestle a more intricate and spindly look which is appropriate for narrow gauge.
