This is the recommended NBW for modeling the bolts and washers on S and O scale trestles. It models a 3-7/8" diameter washer in S scale and a 2-7/8" washer in O scale.

There are 25 sprues of Grandt Line 5093 NBW's (GL-5093) in this package. Each sprue has 20 NBW's on it. That's 500 NBW's! That's enough to put one every place it is needed on the Black Bear TJ-5LO, five leg trestle.

A good looking alternative to NBW's is to mix up several high viscosity acrylic paints (i.e. Liquidtex that is sold in tubes.) to produce a rust color. Apply the paint with a toothpick. With a little practice you can attractively represent the bolts or spikes with a lot less time and money.
